WEST END:

Matthew wrote and starred in Miss Nightingale - an original British musical which toured the UK five times to midscale and large scale venues, before doing an eight week run at the Vaults and then transferring for a further eight weeks to the Hippodrome Theatre in the West End.

Matthew runs the new writing course for Leeds Conservatoire's Music Theatre course. He co-ordinates the Northern Music Theatre Writer's group for Mercury Musicals Development. He frequently consults as production advisor and/or dramaturg on other people's work. He is also a Stonewall role model and frequently visits schools to talk about LGBTQI rights.
